About the NCSCA

Our Mission

The Mission of the North Carolina High School Soccer Coaches Association (NCSCA) is to honor and promote Prep Soccer in North Carolina by encouraging professionalism and leadership with our members.

OBJECTIVES

The Objectives of the NCSCA is

To promote the growth of interscholastic soccer in North Carolina.
To advocate for Prep Soccer by working with the North Carolina High School Athletic Association, the North Carolina Coaches Association, the United Soccer Coaches Association, and the NFHS.
To help reach the highest possible standards of the soccer coaching profession and to work together for the improvement of interscholastic soccer in North Carolina.
To honor and recognize players, coaches, and anyone associated with Prep Soccer at the State, Region, and National Levels.

History

The NCSCA was created in the 1970's to promote Prep Soccer in North Carolina. One of our "Founding Fathers" is NC Soccer Hall of Fame & United Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame member Bill Holleman.

Our current membership is over 200 coaches strong. Our goal is to one day reach 100% membership. We currently have 58 volunteers that serve as Regional Chairmen and/or Officers for the NCSCA.

The NCSCA has grown from not only selecting all-region & all-state teams, but to also having the only Interstate Prep Soccer All-Star event in the nation, the "Clash of the Carolina's". The NCSCA also looks to improve Prep soccer by serving as a "Voice" for our members to the NCHSAA, USC & NFHS.
